Testing

The certificate is for your lot, not a representative one.

Plenty of sites publish one certificate per product and leave it there for a year. Ours are keyed to the lot number stamped on the bottle in your hand, so what you can look up is what you actually received.

Look up a lot

The lot number is printed on the bottle label, next to the expiry.

What happens to a batch

  1. 01

    Material arrives

Nothing is listed on arrival. Incoming material is quarantined and sampled before it goes anywhere near a capsule.

  2. 02

    Independent assay

A sample goes to Summit BioAnalytics for identity and purity by reverse-phase HPLC with mass confirmation. We pay for the test before we know the answer.

  3. 03

Pass or it is not listed

The result is filed against the lot number that will be printed on the bottle. Under spec means the lot is not listed — not discounted, not blended into another lot.

  4. 04

    Encapsulated and sealed

Capsules are filled to the strength on the label, bottled, sealed and lot-stamped. The number on your bottle is the number on the certificate.

What a certificate does not say

A certificate of analysis confirms identity and purity of the material. It is not a safety assessment, not a clearance for human or veterinary use, and not a recommendation to consume anything. These compounds are supplied for laboratory research only.
